Four Session Types
We offer four different sessions for family photos. They are the 20 minute mini session, the 40 minute session, bundle two 30 minute sessions for maternity and newborn, and the 2 hour for Extended Family.
- Mini sessions are held on a set day and time once each month May – December and sometimes more during Summer and Fall.
- The 45 minute sessions is specially allow more flexibility in scheduling and in choosing your own location as well as more time for variety and getting comfortable in front of the camera.
- The Maternity session and Newborn session, only at Bee Diamond Photography these sessions can be book as a bundle, first Maternity session can be a Mini session, whereas the Newborn session can be done in your home or at our studio in St. Albert.
- Our 90 minute package is designed for large group of people attend at the family gathering session to allow more time and ensure we capture every details of the date.
Pricing for each session type comes in two payments: The booking fee acts as a retainer for reserving your day and time, the balance will be due prior the session time. Also, digital and print products are sold separately after gallery delivery, so that you have control over your budget and are able to make your decisions after you’ve viewed your images.

How do we book a session?
The best way is always to contact us, either fill out the contact form, send an email to beediamondphotography@gmail.com or call (368) 990-5678.
From there, we'll settle your session type, the day, and location of your session.
The photoshoot is not fully considered “booked” until a contract has been signed and retainer paid. The deposit is 50% of the session fee chosen with the remaining balance due 24-hour prior the day of your session.
What’s included in your pricing?
Your session time, the edited, high resolution images from the collection you’ve chosen, a print release and online downloading gallery are all included in your session fee.
How will I receive my images?
Two to three weeks following your session, all of your best photos will be edited and delivered through a private, password-protected online gallery. From there, you can select your favourites, download, share, and print your photos - either on your own or through our professional print lab. Shopping menu from our online gallery will always allow you to purchase digital files, wall prints, canvases, and even custom albums al in one place. Your gallery will stay active for 60 days.
What should we wear?
We have an awesome style guide and you will receive a detailed PDF after your booking. That Style & Select will help you coordinate and style your entire family effortlessly called. The goal is to choose a colour palette of 3-5 related colour and repeated those colour throughout the group to seek balance.
Will you help me with posing?
Absolutely! We know what it’s like to be in front of the camera too! Having direction helps you loosen up, feel less awkward and look flattering. We make sure we guide you in multiple ways using different poses so the session flows.
What if the weather is crummy or my child is sick?
As we have an outdoor session scheduled and if we get a considerable amount of rain, snow, or wind, we may need to cancel it and we are happy to reschedule your session to our next availability. We will do our best to contact you at least two hours before the session time if it looks like we need to do that.
The same goes for sick children. We totally understand. If possible, we ask for 24-hour notice so that we can check our waiting list and rearrange your session to our next availability.
